About

My aim is for you to find freedom in your body and mind through yoga.

Bringing mind and body into balance

I started my professional journey as a classical and contemporary trained dancer. The Pilates Method was early introduced in my dance journey, at the age of 14, as it helped me immensely to create a good physical condition and injury free body.

Those times gave me a lot of experience and awareness through the body and how the connection with the mind can help you to, or block you from, achieving your goals and express authentically who you are. Later, some injuries lead me to Pilates again and that is when I began to study Pilates.
I had the privilege of studying with Alan Herdman Pilates and later with Polestar Pilates where not only I studied the Pilates Studio and Mat Work but also took various further trainings such as neuropathologies, osteoporosis, scoliosis, lower back pain, injuries of the upper and lower limbs and advanced assessment skills.

As a Pilates teacher I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with many students and various conditions which made me feel even more curious to go deeper, more holistically and seek for different perspectives which lead me to Traditional Chinese Medicine. I felt the need to integrate eastern and western, ancient and innovative knowledge, culture and wisdom.

Traditional Chinese Medicine gave me a new perspective and new “eyes” to read and decode some of the more subtle information that can often be missed when observing oneself or when working with other people.
Around that time I had a car accident. What emerged from that event as well as other difficult challenges in life invited me to go even deeper on my research and to learn how to deal with pain and suffering on all levels. It lead me to Yoga, meditation, trauma healing through the different layers of the being, etc, etc in search for meaning, understanding and ultimately healing.

I was introduced to Iyengar Yoga at this time and got totally drawn to it as it gave me exactly what I needed to carry on my healing journey. Later I became a certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor and never stoped studying Yoga.

And this is where it all came together.

The Healing Journey of body, mind, and heart to connect with the soul and become whole. The beautiful and endless journey of every human being.
